PAGBAM in purchase of IGT and Everi shares in favour of Apollo

Pérez Alati Grondona Benites & Arntsen has advised the US investment fund Apollo Global Management Inc. in Argentina in the process of purchasing the shares of International Game Technology and Everi Holdings.

Following the closing of the transaction, International Game Technology (through its IGT Gaming business) and Everi Holdings will be privately held companies that will form part of a combined company. Following the completion of the sale of the IGT Gaming business to Apollo Global Management Inc, IGT will change its name and trading symbol, thereby moving into the lottery business.

Sidley Austin LLP, White & Case LLP and Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz acted as local counsel to IGT; Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP acted as legal counsel to Everi; and Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison together with PAGBAM acted as legal counsel to Apollo Global Management Inc.

PAGBAM’s team was led by partners P. Eugenio Aramburu (pictured left) and Geraldine Moffat (pictured right), and associate Nicolás del Campo Wilson.
