PAGBAM on sale of Las Misiones, Empresas Verdes Argentina and Estancia Celina

Pérez Alati Grondona Benites & Arntsen has advised Harvard Management Company, an investment fund of Harvard University, on the sale of Las Misiones, Empresas Verdes Argentina and Estancia Celina to Proener, which was advised by Bruchou & Funes de Rioja.

The sale involves more than 88,000 hectares in Corrientes dedicated to forestry.

Due to the previous acquisition of Masisa’s forestry assets in Argentina in December 2022, Central Puerto becomes the leading Argentinean company in the forestry sector with more than 160,000 hectares.

Proener is a company controlled by Central Puerto, one of the largest electricity producers in Argentina.

Adrian Salvatore and Justina Richards acted as in-house counsel for Proener. 

Bruchou & Funes de Rioja’s team included partner Mariano Luchetti, and associates Nicolás Dulce, Macarena Rolón, Delfina Necol and Manuela Bobrowski.
