PAGBAM opens new Desk and promotes partner

In the framework of its 32nd anniversary, Pérez Alati Grondona Benites & Arntsen has announced the opening of its Latin American Desk, which will be led by new partner Marina Basavilbaso (pictured) from Uruguay.

Thanks to this, the firm expands its internationalisation once again and provides a new office that will focus on providing comprehensive services for projects covering several Latin American countries. The synergy between this new office in Uruguay and the existing offices in Argentina (Buenos Aires and Neuquén), Chile and New York will allow PAGBAM to continue offering its clients the specialisation of its professionals in the most diverse areas of law, extending its regional reach.

Marina Basavilbaso is in an excellent position to lead the project, having focused her practice in recent years as counsel to the firm on international advice and the successful coordination of interdisciplinary and experienced teams for multinational clients.

Marina has been part of the firm for ten years, where she developed her professional practice in the area of commercial law, with a particular focus on advising technology companies. She specialises in the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts, telecommunications infrastructure and real estate projects, Internet liability issues, e-commerce, software licensing and digital content, among others. In addition, Marina is part of PAGBAM’s Aviation Law team advising on contractual, regulatory and litigation matters.
