PAGBAM represents CDB in $2b credit facility

PAGBAM has assisted China Development Bank in a credit line with the Republic of Argentina for the Belgrano Cargas Railway rehabilitation project

 Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen has represented China Development Bank on the Third Amendment to the Credit Facility Agreement entered into by such entity with the Argentine Republic and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) on 25 June 2012 and amended on 18 July 2014, for an amount of $ 2,099,965,834 US dollars in order to extend the period of availability of the funds from the Credit Agreement.

The transaction was entered into on 10 January 2022 for the purpose, on the part of the Argentine Republic, of continuing the works within the framework of the Belgrano Cargas Railway rehabilitation project.

Heng Law Offices, through its Beijing office, advised CDB in China.

China Development Bank operates as a development finance institution. It is considered one of the largest development finance institutions in the world and the largest Chinese bank for foreign investment and financial cooperation.
