Pérez Alati advises banks on biomass project financing
Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen acted as adviser to Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires and Banco de Inversión y Comercio Exterior on a $10.4 million project financing for the development of a 10-megawatt biomass plant by Silvateam Energías Renovables.
The project was awarded in the second round of the country’s RenovAr renewable energy auction program, and will be built in Chaco province, under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Argentina’s wholesale power market supervisory body CAMMESA.
Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen’s partner Diego Serrano Redonnet advised on the loan, with associates Danilo Parodi Logioco, Nicolás Aberastury, Ignacio Payarola, Tomás Fernández Madero, Valeria Stemkauskas, Paula Balbi and Guido Meirovich.
Silvateam Energías Renovables was advised by Estudio Curutchet-Odriozola, with a team comprising partner Julio Ernesto Curutchet and associate Soledad Espasandín.
