Pérez-Llorca advises IGP on Lamart deal

Industrial Growth Partners (IGP), a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on the industrial sector, has acquired Lamart Corporation, a manufacturer of engineered, coated, and laminated flexible materials serving technically demanding industrial end markets.

The transaction encompassed Lamart’s operations in the United States as well as its Mexican subsidiary, which operates in Ensenada, Mexico. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Pérez-Llorca México acted as Mexican legal counsel to Industrial Growth Partners in connection with the acquisition, advising on the Mexican aspects of the transaction and coordinating closely with U.S. counsel Calfee, Halter & Griswold throughout the cross-border deal.

Pérez-Llorca’s Mexico M&A team advising IGP comprised partners José Ignacio Rivero (pictured left), Jacinto Ávalos (pictured right), and associate Héctor Ferrari.
