Pérez-Llorca counsels GLAS on €1.7 billion cross-border financing
Pérez-Llorca has advised GLAS Trust Corporation, acting as security agent, on the Mexican law aspects and collateral matters related to the amendment agreement and reaffirmations tied to a €1.7 billion financing originally granted to Capripack HoldCo.
The lender group, composed of major international financial institutions such as Macquarie Bank, Crédit Agricole, Mizuho Bank, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, HPS Investment Partners, among others, reflects the global scale and strategic importance of the transaction.
The transaction, closed in May 2025, involved multi-jurisdictional elements, with particular complexity in the reaffirmation of guarantees and securities governed by Mexican law.
