Pérez-Llorca expands real estate practice in Monterrey

Pérez-Llorca has announced the appointment of Daniel Nájera (pictured) as counsel in its real estate practice at the Monterrey office, reinforcing the firm’s growth strategy in Mexico and addressing the increasing demand for specialized legal services in the northern region of the country.

With over ten years of experience in corporate and real estate law, Nájera has provided legal counsel to both domestic and international clients—including Fortune 500 and publicly listed companies—on a wide range of matters such as investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, due diligence, lease agreements, asset purchases and sales, co-investments, and real estate trusts.

Nájera has also held leadership roles within the construction, retail, and real estate sectors, spearheading major transactions and structuring large-scale projects. He holds a law degree from Universidad de Monterrey.

According to the law firm, real estate has become a strategic area for Monterrey, where the expansion of the manufacturing sector and the demand for industrial space by domestic and foreign companies have driven sustained growth. His arrival at the firm follows that of Ricardo Morales Barrón, M&A and corporate partner, who joined the office in February.
