PHR represents Odinsa in alliance with MAM

Posse Herrera Ruiz has represented Odinsa, Grupo Argos’ concessions company, in the closing of its alliance with Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), an infrastructure asset manager, for the operation and investment in Odinsa’s road infrastructure business in Colombia.

This transaction was announced on 2 September 2021 and closed on 22 June 2022 for $566,826,070,566, after complying with the conditions precedent, which included formalities with national authorities such as the Superintendencia Financiera, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio and the Agencia Nacional de Infraestructura, as well as obtaining authorisations from financiers, insurers, the concessions and their shareholders.

Thanks to this operation, the new investment platform will hold the shares of the road projects owned by Odinsa in Colombia: Pacífico 2, Túnel Aburrá Oriente, Autopistas del Café and Malla Vial del Meta; it will also obtain the participation in projects and initiatives in structuring, which include the expansion of the Túnel de Oriente, in Antioquia; Perimetral de la Sabana, in Cundinamarca and Conexión Centro, in the Eje Cafetero.
