Pinheiro Neto advise DEG and IFC on investment in Neon
Pinheiro Neto advised on the completed a capital raise of BRL 720 million (Series E) in Neon Pagametos. The funding round included participation from new institutional investors, among them DEG – the development finance arm of the German government – and the IFC – the development finance arm of Banco Mundial.
The proceeds will be primarily allocated to the expansion of the private payroll loan portfolio, the development of new products, and the strengthening of the institution’s regulatory capital base.
Pinheiro Neto advised DEG and IFC and relied on partner José Luiz Homem de Mello (pictured), associate Isabela Piovesan Dall Oglio and foreing associate Micaela Boruchowicz.
