Pinheiro Neto advises NTS on $1.4bn public offering
Pinheiro Neto acted for NTS on its R$5.2 billion (around $1.4bn) debenture offering.
NTS (Nova Transportadora do Sudeste) is a a Brazilian gas transportation company headquartered in Rio de Janeiro.
Banco Itaú BBA led the offering, coordinating with arrangers BB – Banco de Investimento and Banco Bradesco BBI.
This offering of unsecured debentures had restrict efforts of distribution (ICVM 476). It is reportedly one of the largest of its kind in Brazil by a non-financial company.
Partners José Carlos Junqueira S. Meirelles and Marcello Lobo led the Pinheiro Neto team advising the issuer NTS.
The underwriters instructed a team at Pinheiro Guimarães Advogados, led by partner Ivie Moura Alves.
