Pinheiro Neto advises underwriters on Banco Inter share offering
Brazilian law firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados has advised the underwriters on a 1.24-billion-reais ($312.7 million) share offering by Banco Inter.
The offering consisted of the distribution of 31,200,000 common shares and 62,400,000 preferred shares, with a price-per-share of 13.33 reais ($3.36), which resulted in a total amount of the offer of 1,247,688,000 reais.
Pinheiro Neto’s team comprised partners José Luiz Homem de Mello (pictured) and Guilherme Sampaio Monteiro, associates Tatiana Guazzelli, Julia Barbosa Campos, Carolina Rocha Lima, Taisa Sani and Thomas P.H. de Vasconcelos, and legal assistant Gabriela Lancellotti Schwarz.
The law firm also acted as counsel to Manaus Ambiental and Banco BOCOM BBM on a second debentures issuance by the former worth 100 million reais ($25.2 million).
The firm’s team comprised partner Ricardo Simões Russo and associates Thaís Lorenzi Ambrosano, Vittoria Cervantes de Simoni and legal aide Ana Clara Mattiello Sverzut.
In a separate deal, Pinheiro Neto Advogados acted as deal counsel to Companhia Securitizadora de Créditos Financeiros Vert-Fintech and XP Investimentos Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários on a second issuance of Debentures by the former for a total of 167 million reais ($42.1 million).
In that issuance, the law firm’s team was led by partner Bruno Balduccini and associates Thaís Lorenzi Ambrosano, Alessandra Carolina Martins, Lucas Marinho and Vittoria Cervantes de Simoni, and legal aide Gabriela Lancellotti Schwarz.
And in another deal, Pinheiro Neto advised on the sale of SEPAC, a tissue paper manufactuter based in Paraná state, to Melhoramentos CMPC, in a transaction valued at 1.34 billion reais ($338 million), and in which partner Fernando Alves Meira and associates Gustavo P. Crêdo, André Reis and Tiago Moreira Vieira Rocha led the law firm’s team.
