Pinheiro Neto and Machado Meyer act in BRL350m PE fund investment
Machado Meyer Advogados advised BTG Pactual in R$ 350 million private equity fund investment to acquire control of CDF, which was represented by Pinheiro Neto Advogados
Pinheiro Neto Advogados has advised the private shareholders of CDF Assistência e Suporte Digital S.A. in negotiations involving primary and secondary investments by a private equity fund from BTG Pactual, advised by Machado Meyer. The total amount of the investment is R$ 350,000,000.00.
Once certain customary conditions precedent are met, including the approval of the transaction by the Brazilian antitrust authorities, the BTG Pactual PE fund will retain a 63.93% stake in CDF, while the remaining 36.07% of CDF’s share capital will continue to be held by its current shareholders.
CDF provides premium technology support services for electronic equipment as well as assistance services.
BTG Pactual Group’s investment will enable CDF to grow by expanding support services to new customers/markets and offering new services.
