Pinheiro Neto and Tozzini Freire advise on the Unicharm acquisition

Pinheiro Neto advised Unicharm Pet do Brasil on the acquisition of Nutrire Industria de Alimentos, a Brazilian company active in the pet food and animal nutrition sector, which was advised by Tozzini Freire.

The target produces and commercializes dry and wet food and snacks for dogs and cats. The sellers are individual entrepreneurs, and the transaction value remains confidential. The deal is currently pending closing.

Pinheiro Neto advised the buyer, Unicharm Pet do Brasil, with a team led by partner Yuka Ono, alongside senior associate Ricardo Busana Galvão Bueno, associates Luana Arone de Miranda and Vivian Lie Miyakawa, and law clerk Valentina Girão Faragone.

Tozzini Freire represented the sellers and the target company, with a team comprising partners Fernanda Fossati, and partners Gustavo Nygaard (Tax) and Julian Rillo (Real State); lawyers Patrick Menin Rebolho and Joana Werner Kehrwald.
