Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised SoftBank Latin America Fund on its US$200 million investment in 2TM

SoftBank Group is a multinational conglomerate that operates in technology, telecommunications, e-commerce, internet, finance, media and other businesses, including investing in start-ups through its venture capital funds.

Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised SoftBank Latin America Fund (SBLA) that invested USD200,000,000 in 2TM, the holding company that controls cryptoactive broker Mercado Bitcoin.

The Series B investment round valued the company at USD2.1 billion – over BRL10.4 billion.

Pinheiro Neto relied on partner Miguel Tornovsky (pictured) and associates Nicholas Versignassi and Luiza Kauss Alarcon in this transaction.
