Pinheiro Neto assists underwriters on Brazilian Federal bonds issuance
Pinheiro Neto Advogados has steered a bank consortium managing the operation as to matters of Brazilian law
Pinheiro Neto assisted as Brazilian counsel to Citigroup Global Markets Inc.; Santander Investment Securities, Inc.; and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. as underwriters of the issuance, as to matters of Brazilian law.
The Federative Republic of Brazil issued global bonds with three different maturities: 2025 Global Bonds: June 6, 2025; 2030 Global Bonds: June 12, 2030; 2050 Global Bonds: January 14, 2050. The amount of each series is 2025 Global Bonds: $500 million; 2030 Global Bonds: $1250 million; and 2050 Global Bonds: $750 million—a total value of $2.5 billion.
Pinheiro Neto Advogados assisted in the coordination of the transaction and prepared an opinion concerning the validity of the transaction documents.
