Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised Rede D’or on acquisition of Hospital Nossa Senhora das Neves, Unineves S.A and Mederi
Rede D’Or São Luiz S.A. has acquired, through two wholly-owned subsidiaries, the control of Hospital Nossa Senhora das Neves and Unineves S.A., both a hospital in João Pessoa/PB and a university in the same city.
The company also acquired a 49% stake in Mederi, a medical equipment distributor operating in the Northeast of Brazil.
The acquisition was carried out with a mix of purchase of shares held by the founding shareholders as well as a direct investment in the companies.
The enterprise value of the combined companies was BRL 550 million.
Pinheiro Neto Advogados was joined by partner Fernando Alves Meira (pictured), senior associate Tiago Eler Silva and associate Ricardo Busana Galvão Bueno.
