Pinheiro Neto counsels Blackstone on sale to Digital Colony

Pinheiro Neto Advogados has advised on the sale of Phoenix Tower, managed by Blackstone fund

Digital Colony has acquired Phoenix Tower do Brasil from Brazilian Towers – Fundo de Investimento em Participações Multiestratégia Investimento no Exterior, a private equity investment fund held by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities.

Phoenix Tower is one of Brazil’s leading independent telecommunications infrastructure providers and is the leading developer of small cell and distributed antenna systems in the country.

The acquisition carried out through Digital Colony’s portfolio company Highline do Brasil, added 2,500 new sites to the company’s portfolio of digital communication infrastructure assets and increased its portfolio to more than 3,200 locations in the region.

Pinheiro Neto team was led by partner Caio Ferreira Silva (pictured), and involved associates Lawson Miralha Marins da Silva and Brenno Allaim de Sousa.
