Pinheiro Neto counsels Cielo and underwriters on FIDC that has already reached R$ 4.95 billion
Pinheiro Neto Advogados has counseled Cielo S.A, Banco Bradesco BBI S.A. and UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A. on the structuring of a Receivables Investment Fund that has already reached R$4.95 billion
Pinheiro Neto acted as legal counsel consulter of Cielo and the underwriters in the structuring of the FIDIC that, in the first offering of quotas shares to the market, reached a total value of R$4.95 billion. With this transaction, the FIDC is one of the largest in the market and the largest FIDC issuance of 2021.
The structured investment fund aims to acquire credit rights owned by Cielo and owed by Bradesco entities, arising from payments with Visa credit cards by end users in commercial establishments accredited with Cielo.
The agreement resulted in a new financing alternative for Cielo.
Pinheiro Neto had partners Ricardo Simões Russo (pictured left) and Caio Ferreira Silva (pictured right), and associates Felipe Tucunduva van Heemstede, Lucas Marinho, Brenno Allaim de Sousa, and legal assistant Carolina Fernández Vidal.
