Pinheiro Neto counsels Flamengo Participações on Nadir Figueiredo buyout
Pinheiro Neto advised Flamengo Participações, a local company indirectly controlled by foreign entities managed by Miami-based private equity firm HIG Capital, on its acquisition of local glassware manufacturer Nadir Figueiredo Indústria e Comércio.
In a transaction valued at 836.2 million reais ($205.8 million), Flamengo acquired 97.67 per cent of the total and voting capital stock of the target company, representing 98.90 per cent of the total voting shares and 96.83 per cent of the total preferential shares.
Pinheiro Neto partners Eduardo H. Paoliello Jr (pictured) and Flávio Veitzman, and senior associate Renato Holsback Ramos and mid-level associate Otavio BP de Carvalho advised the buyer.
