Pinheiro Neto guides Via Varejo debentures issuance

Brazilian law firm Pinheiro Neto has represented retail company Via Varejo on the issuance of two series of debentures worth 1.5 billion reais ($281.3 million).

Ricardo Russo of Pinheiro NetoThe first series of the issuance is due June 2021, and the second June 2022, while the first series at a rate of DI + 3.75 per cenr, and the second DI + 4.25 per cent.

Banco Santander (Brasil) acted as lead underwriter, Banco BTG Pactual as underwriter, and Banco Safra as underwriter. 

Pinheiro Neto’s team was led by partners Ricardo Simões Russo (pictured) and Joamir Müller Romiti Alves, with associates Marcos Saldanha Proença, Vittoria Cervantes de Simoni and legal assistants Alice Teixeira and Luísa Reis Lopes Correia.
