Pinheiro Neto represents Mubadala in deal with Renova Energia

Renova Energia accepted the proposal from Mubadala fund for the purchase of 51% of Brasil PCH, a subsidiary of Renova Group.

The sale of Brasil PCH S.A. should occur through the judicial sale of the shares in a competitive process, as provided for in the judicial reorganization plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the Public Notice that governs the competitive process.

Renova has also accepted Mubadala as a preferred bidder (Pursuing Horse) of the competitive process, being granted the right to match if a superior proposal is submitted by a third party in the context of the competitive process.

The proposal foresees the acquisition of all of the common shares for R$1.1 billion.

Brasil PCH has a portfolio of 13 small hydroelectric plants (SHPPs) spread over the states of Minas Gerais, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo.
