Posse Herrera Ruiz counsels Codere on debt financing

Posse Herrera Ruiz has assisted Codere in a fixed-rate super senior secured notes agreement

Posse Herrera Ruiz advised Codere S.A. and its noteholders on the refinancing of its debt through a fixed-rate super senior secured notes agreement. PHR acted as local counsel for the noteholders and Codere, including its local entities Codere Latam Colombia S.A. and Codere Colombia S.A.

The agreement extended in several jurisdictions like Luxembourg, United States of America, United Kingdom, Spain, among others. And the total value of the operation reached the €250 million.

Posse Herrera Ruiz team was led by partner Mariana Posse (pictured), and involved Lina María Lineros, Sebastián Echeverri and Nicolás Bonilla.

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP also assisted Codere S.A. with a team formed by partner Duane McLaughlin and Jessica C. Repond, Omeed Firoozgan, and José Andrés de Saro.

Milbank London assisted the noteholders with a team formed by Henry Ellis and Shana Mirhosseini.
