Posse Herrera Ruiz steers Colombia highway concession loans
Posse Herrera Ruiz has acted as Colombian legal adviser to Unión Vial Río Pamplonita and its shareholders on the signing of two loans for the construction of the Pamplona-Cúcuta highway, awarded as part of the national infrastructure agency’s fourth tranche of road concessions.
The company’s shareholders are Sacyr Concesiones Colombia and Sacyr Concesiones Participadas.
The first loan totals $391 million, granted under New York law and supplied by Bank of China Limited Panama Branch, Deutsche Bank, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Dubai (DIFC) Branch, Instituto de Crédito Oficial, JPMorgan Chase Bank, American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, MUFG Bank, Société Générale and Citibank. The second, for $450 million, was granted under Colombian law and the borrowers are Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional and Citibank.
