PPU advised Amerra on $30m financing in Peru

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría helped Amerra, acting as administrative agent, on a $30 million loan to Silvestre.

Silvestre Peru and Neoagrum, the borrowers, are pesticides producers and part of Grupo Silvestre, a Peruvian agribusiness holding company. 
The deal involves a complex collateral structure that includes an asset trust, a fund flows trust, a pledge over inventories, a corporate guaranty provided by local companies and individuals and a collateral management agreement.
Amerra instructed a team at PPU led by partner Ignacio Lopez de Romaña. 
Muñiz Olaya Melendez Castro Ono & Herrera Abogados acted for the borrowers, with partner Andrés Kuan-Veng fronting the team.
