PPU advised thyssenkrupp on merger control issues in Colombia
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría helped thyssenkrupp clear competition procedures in Colombia arising from the company´s acquisition of Atlas.
thyssenkrupp announced in January 2017 it acquired the remaining 49% interest in the Atlas Elektronik group it did not owned and which was held by Airbus.
As a result of this deal, thyssenkrupp becomes the sole owner of Atlas Elektronik, which is a global maritime high-tech company. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Partner Diego Cardona led the PPU team advising thyssenkrupp on the Colombian competition aspects of the deal.
