PPU advised WSP on Pacific Alliance expansion

The PPU offices in Chile, Colombia and Peru worked together to advise WSP on its $30 million acquisition of Poch; a deal which spanned the four countries in the Pacific Alliance. 

WSP Global is a Canadian environmental management and consultancy company. It is one of the largest professional services firm in the world, with approximately 36 thousand staff across 500 offices in 40 countries. Poch focuses on engineering and environmental services. It is headquartered in Chile with operations in Peru, Colombia and Mexico.

Partners Rafael Jiménez Mateo and Juan Paulo Bambach coordinated the team at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría which acted for WSP in Chile, Colombia and Peru. Partner Rafael Puiggros in Lima, senior associate Juan Camilo Segura in Bogotá and Javier Rodriguez, Mexico City-based senior associate at Uría Menéndez, also played leading roles.

Additionally, WSP also instructed Santamarina y Steta in Mexico.

Poch retained Barros & Errázuriz for Chilean counsel.
