PPU advises Grenergy Renovables on $71m solar project financing

Chilean law firm Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (PPU) has advised Grenergy Renovables on the $71 million project financing for its 103-megawatt Quillagua solar plant.

Federido Grebe of PPUThe financing was composed of two diferent loans, a senior facility granted by Banco Security, Banco del Estado de Chile and Penta Vida Compañía de Seguros de Vida totalling $60 million, and a mezzanine loan granted by Sinia Renovables for $11 million.

PPU’s team was led by partner Federico Grebe (pictured), with associates Daniel Parodi, Juan Ignacio Pitta, Santiago Mesías and Vera Yacher.
