PPU assists Apex in Finix acquisition
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has assisted Apex Group in the acquisition of 100% of Finix Group, the leading provider of back-office services in Chile.
This acquisition strengthens Apex’s presence in Latin America and expands its capabilities with more than 100 professionals managing approximately USD 10.5 billion in assets.
The transaction, which closed on 14 October, involved the UK and Chilean jurisdictions. DLA Piper acted as Chilean counsel to Finix Group.
PPU’s team was led by partner Juan Paulo Bambach (pictured), with significant participation from associates Josefina Joannon, Felipe Ossa, Daniela Leighton and Magdalena Gatica.
