PPU assists General Catalyst in investments in NotCo
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has advised General Catalyst Group on its 2020 and 2021 investments in NotCo
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has assisted General Catalyst Group X – Growth Venture, L.P. in its first investment in NotCo Ltda. in 2020 and an additional investment in Series D shares of NotCo Ltd. in 2021.
This transaction closed on July 26, 2021 and was valued at $235 million US dollars.
General Catalyst is a US venture capital firm that provides early and growth stage equity investments.
NotCo is a Chilean food technology company that produces plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.
Cooley’s Michael McGrail, partner Proskauer Stephen T. Mears and Jamiel E. Poindexter, and associate Ryan M. Carpenter also acted as advisors to General Catalyst.
