PPU assists Minera Las Bambas in maintenance of Corredor Minero

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Peru has assisted Minera Las Bambas before the National Water Dispute Resolution Tribunal (TNRCH) of the National Water Authority (ANA) in the ex officio review of the authorisation for the use of water for the maintenance of the public road network in the so-called Corredor Minero, an important route for the economic development of the south of the country.

There are USD 6.65 billion of investment until December 2023 for the development and operation of the mine. An additional investment of USD 400 million is planned for 2024 alone.
