PPU Colombia appoints new partner
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has promoted Carlos Eduardo Padilla to Infrastructure partner
PPU awarded Carlos Eduardo Padilla successful career inside the firm by promoting him to partner in the last General Assembly.
Padilla is a lawyer from the Universidad de Los Andes and holds a Master in International Business Management from La Trobe University in Australia. His professional practice focuses on Infrastructure, Public-Private Partnerships and Information Technology projects. He has been involved in several of the most significant infrastructure projects in the country during the last decade and advised local and foreign clients in the structuring and financing of transportation, telecommunications, hydrocarbons, energy and public services projects. Recently he has been involved in the structuring and financing of several of the most critical 4G road concession projects, most recently the funding of the Ruta al Mar, Pasto – Rumichaca and Pamplona – Cúcuta projects.
With this appointment, the firm adds 58 partners in Chile, Colombia and Peru, which makes PPU into a law firm of reference in Latin America.
