PPU counsels Lone Star on acquisition of Manuchar NV
PPU Peru has represented Lone Star Funds in the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Manuchar NV
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Peru has counselled Lone Star Funds on all aspects of Peruvian law relating to the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Manuchar NV in a fast-paced acquisition, which involved working closely with co-counsel in the region, under very aggressive timelines and reviewing and commenting on complex cross-border documents. AvH Growth Capital, together with the Maas family, acted as sellers.
Mattos filho Advogdos advised Lone Star Americas Acquisitions and relied on partners Marcelo G. Ricupero, Bernardo Môcho Moura and associates Camila Spadoni Mahfuz, Amanda Almeida Muniz, Tamara Duarte de Oliveira, Rafaela Moreira Haddad.
The transaction, which is subject to antitrust approval, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, Kirkland & Ellis LLP also advised the parties on the transaction.
