PPU counsels on $20m financing for Frigoríficos Pacífico
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has counselled Scotiabank Chile, as administrative agent, collateral agent and lender, and Banco BICE and Banco de Crédito e Inversiones, as lenders, in connection with the USD 20,000,000 financing to Frigoríficos Pacífico.
This transaction was closed on 18 October, with Noguera Larraín y Dulanto (NLD) acting as advisor to Frigoríficos Pacífico.
The fund will be used for the construction of a large-scale meat processing plant in Talcahuano, Chile.
Frigorífico Pacífico is the Chilean subsidiary of EmergentCold LATAM, one of Latin America’s leading cold chain logistics operators.
NLD’s team comprised partners Paulo Larraín and José Miguel Diez, along with director Bernardita Calvo and associate María de los Ángeles Cuevas.
PPU’s team was led by director Daniel Parodi (pictured), with support from associates Tomás Canales, Nicole Bercovich and Juan Ignacio Rosales.
