PPU counsels QMC Telecom on Proparco credit facility
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has counselled QMC Telecom International Holdings (QMC Telecom) in the credit facility through which Société de Promotion et de Participation pour la Coopération Economique (Proparco) granted a USD $16 million loan and refinanced for USD $49 million granted by Corporación Interamericana de Inversiones in 2021, which included addenda to the guarantees granted by the Colombian subsidiaries of QMC Holdings, LLC to include Proparco as beneficiary.
This operation, valued at USD. 65,000,000, began in April and closed in November, and included the jurisdictions of Peru, Colombia, Mexico and the USA. In addition to PPU in Peru and Colombia, other firms advising on the transaction were DLA Piper Peru, Martinez Quintero Mendoza Gonzalez Laguado & De La Rosa (Martinez), Mendoza Abogados, RL&A Abogados Mexico, Morrison Foerster and Locke Lord.
