PPU in CEXIM financing Enel Distribución Perú acquisition
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Peru has advised The Export – Import Bank of China (CEXIM) in the financing of the acquisition of 83.15% of the shares of Enel Distribución Perú and 100% of the shares of Enel X Perú by North Lima Power Grid Holding (subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid International).
The amount of the financing was RMB¥16,800,000,000.00 (USD 2.3 Billion approx).
This transaction was signed on 22 May and disbursed on 23 May, and involved the jurisdictions of China and Peru. King & Wood Mallesons acted as advisor to CEXIM in China.
King & Wood Mallesons’ team included Samantha (Yu) Tian, Yang Xiaoquan; Qiu Liang; Wang, Zichuan and Harvey (Haoran) Jing.
