PPU instructed on Federal-Mogul sale in Colombia

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría advised all parties on the Colombian aspects of the acquisition of 80,1% of the corporate capital of a Brazilian subsidiary of Federal-Mogul Corporation. 

Federal-Mogul is a developer, manufacturer and supplier of powertrain components and vehicle safety products. The company is headquartered in Michigan, US and has global operations.

Fras-le, the buyer, is a Brazilian company which produces friction materials in factories in Brazil, the US and China. Additionally, it has commercial operations in Chile, Germany, Mexico, United Aram Emirates, and South Africa

Partners Martín Carrizosa and Diego Cardona led the PPU team advising on the transaction and on competition related matters.
