PPU instructed on Scotiabank´s $40m loan to Peruvian fishing company

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría advised Scotiabank on $40 million to Tasa, a Peruvian fishing company. 

 

Tecnológica de Alimentos (Tasa) is one of the largest fishing companies in Peru and one of the main exporters of fishmeal worldwide. It is a subsidiary of the Brescia Group. 

The 40 million loan will be used by the company as working capital. It was guaranteed by a guarantee over certain fishing vessels of the borrower. 

Partner Ignacio López de Romaña led the PPU team advising Scotiabank.
