PPU on CMPC bond issue
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has advised the representatives of the initial purchasers in the issuance by Inversiones CMPC of USD $ 500,000,000 bonds at a rate of 6.125% per annum payable in 2034.
The issue was made on 26 February, underwritten by Empresas CMPC, with Cuatrecasas Chile acting as local counsel to CMPC, Davis Polk as US counsel to the representatives, Sullivan & Cromwell as US counsel to CMPC, and Pinheiro Neto Advogados as Brazilian counsel to CMPC.
BBVA Securities, BNP Paribas Securities, BofA Securities, Credit Agricole Securities (USA), Mizuho Securities USA, MUFG Securities Americas, Santander US Capital Markets, and Scotia Capital (USA) acted as the representatives of the initial purchasers.
