PPU represents EFE in $125m Scotiabank credit

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has represented Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE), as debtor, in connection with a USD $125,000,000 unsecured bilateral credit agreement granted by Scotiabank Chile, as financing bank.

This transaction was completed on 4 December.

Juan Manuel de la Cuesta Whittle acted as in-house counsel to Scotiabank, while María José Poblete, Diego Mandiola and Roberto la Rosa advised EFE in-house.

PPU’s team included partners Andrés Sanfuentes (pictured left) and Daniel Parodi (pictured right), with support from associate Emilia Bascuñan.
