PPU represents Quelaris in its sale to IMCD
PPU has advised Qularis International on the sale of 100% of its shares to IMCD Group
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has represented Quelaris International, a Latin American leader in the distribution of raw materials for specialty chemicals, in the sale of 100% of its stakes in Quelaris Costa Rica S.A., Quelaris Guatemala S.A., Quelaris Colombia S.A.S., Quelaris Peru S.A.C., Quelaris Dominicana S.R.L. and Quelaris Chile SpA, to IMCD Group, a global distributor of specialty chemicals.
The transaction, signed in January 2022 and soon to be closed, also involved the sale of certain assets belonging to Quelaris International related to the distribution business carried out by the target companies and by four companies of the Quelaris Group that were excluded from the Transaction.
Arias advised IMCD in 5 countries, while Baker McKenzie was also involved in the transaction.
