PRCP Abogados names 5 new partners

 Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados has named Brian Ávalos, Julia Loret de Mola, Alan García Nores, Francisco Ugaz and Luis Bustamante as partners.

Brian Ávalos (pictured top left) holds a Law Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master’s Degree in Labour and Social Security Law from the same university. At PRCP, Brian focuses his practice on Labour Law, Labour Procedural Law and Social Security Law.

Julia Loret de Mola (pictured top right) specialises in Competition Law, Administrative Law and Commercial Law. She holds a Law Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from New York University. Previously, Julia was an international associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in its New York office. She also teaches Tort Liability at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.

Alan García Nores (pictured bottom left) holds a Law Degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of Lima, a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law and Financial Services from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Master’s Degree in Global Business Law from New York University as part of the Dean’s Award Fellowship. Previously, he was an international associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP, New York and an associate in the Fisheries Law practice of Sparrow, Hundskopf & Villanueva Abogados. He specialises in Corporate, Finance, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Francisco Ugaz (pictured bottom centre) is a specialist in Criminal Law. Prior to joining PRCP, he was an associate at Benites, Forno & Ugaz Abogados. He holds a Law Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, as well as a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Criminal Law from the Universidad de Sevilla. He has extensive experience in criminal litigation and consultancy.

Finally, Luis Bustamante (pictured bottom right) holds a Law Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a Diploma in International and Investment Arbitration and a Diploma in Construction Law from the Universidad del Pacífico and the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas respectively, as well as an LL.M. in Arbitration and Business Law from Erasmus University. He was previously an associate at Benites, Forno & Ugaz. He specialises in Civil Procedural Law, Constitutional Procedural Law, Administrative Procedural Law, dispute resolution and arbitration.
