Prieto Abogados adds new partner

Chilean law firm Prieto Abogados announced that Cristián Bay-Schmith is now a partner in their tax practice group.

Bay-Schmith joined Prieto Abogados from PwC in 2012. He earned his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has a postgraduate degree from the University of Florida (LL.M in International Taxation. Additionally, he is currently a Tax Law professor at the Universidad de Los Andes Law School, where he is also the director the Tax Department. 

With this promotion, the tax team at Prieto is home to three partners and 9 other lawyers. Prieto Abogados has over 60 lawyers.
