Prieto advises Aguas Andinas on green bonds issuance in Chile

Chilean law firm Prieto acted for Aguas Andinas, one of the country´s largest water utilities company, on a pioneering $160 million green bonds issuance.

The transaction, widely considered the first of its kind in the local market, included the issuance of two series of bonds for a total amount of 3.5 million inflation-linked UF bonds ($160 million approximately). 

Proceeds will be used by Aguas Andinas to finance sustainable projects that have a positive impact on the environment.
