Prieto assists AD Capital in sale of PMGD portfolio
Prieto Abogados has represented AD Capital in the sale of Chile’s largest PMGD portfolio to BlackRock
Prieto Abogados has assisted AD Capital, as manager of the AD Capital Tralka Energías Renovables Private Investment Fund, in the sale of a PMGD operational solar portfolio to BlackRock’s Global Renewable Power III Investment Fund.
This transaction, announced on 26 January, included the sale of 18 solar plants, the largest portfolio of distributed solar generation plants currently operating in Chile. The deal was part of a private bidding process that took more than 6 months of due diligence of 18 SPVs and their solar plants, and subsequent negotiation of the transaction documents.
The firm Carey y Cía. advised BlackRock. The financial advisors were Hudson Bankers on behalf of the seller and Aediles as advisor to BlackRock.
Carey’s team consisted of partners Pablo Iacobelli, Juan Francisco Mackenna and Juan Pablo Stitchkin, together with associates Sophia Bobadilla, Carenmaría Poblete and Jaime Coutts.
