RAD in leaseback and credit line for Camposol
Rebaza Alcázar & De Las Casas has advised Camposol, as lessee, in a USD $20 million leaseback granted by Scotiabank Perú. The closing took place on December 20.
The firm also advised Camposol, as borrower, in obtaining a USD $30 million revolving credit line from Banco Santander. The credit agreement was formalized on December 30.
The funds available under this facility will be used by Camposol to finance working capital and exports, refinance short-term debt, and for other corporate purposes.
Camposol is a multinational company in the agricultural sector, with clients in more than 40 countries and strategic commercial ties with the world’s leading supermarkets.
Álvaro Carrasco and Alberto Molina acted as in-house counsels to Camposol with respect to the leaseback.
Estudio Echecopar assisted Scotiabank Peru and Banco Santander, respectively, in the $20m and $30m financings, through a team led by partner Alonso Miranda, with the support of associate Lara Sarlui for the first transaction, and Mikela Echeandía for the second transaction.
