Rebaza Alcázar advises on sale of 100% stake of Enel Distribución Perú
Rebaza Alcázar & de las Casas has advised Enel on the sale of 100% of its electricity distribution business in Peru to China Southern Power Grid International (CSGI), a Chinese state-owned company.
The sale included 100% of the shares held by Enel in Enel Distribución Perú (around 83.15% of the outstanding shares of Enel Distribución), and in Enel X Perú, a provider of electricity-related services.
The closing of the transaction remains subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions and the consideration is approximately $2.9 billion USD. Hogan Lovells acted as joint advisor to Enel through its offices in Rome and Milan.
Rodolfo Avogadro di Vigliano, Giuseppe Ciccarelli and Daniel Abramovich acted as in-house counsels to Enel.
