RE&M assists Solarpack in PPA with Kallpa Generación
Rodrigo Elías & Medrano has assisted Solarpack in the start of the construction of a solar power plant, as well as in the subscription of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Kallpa Generación.
This project is aligned with Peru’s energy transition objectives, promoting greater generation of non-conventional renewable energy and contributing to further diversify the current matrix. It will also create 450 jobs during construction and the plant will generate more than 830 GWh per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of more than 440,000 households.
RE&M’s team was led by partners Alejandro Manayalle (pictured left) and Juan Diego De Vinatea (pictured right), with support from counsel Maria del Rosario Quiroga, associates Margarett Matos and Diego Morales Alferrano and consultant Ursula Luna.
