Ritch Mueller represents multiple banks on Orbia’s $1.1 billion bond offering

Ritch Mueller has advised J.P. Morgan, Mizuho, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, BofA Securities and Citigroup, as initial purchasers, in connection with the offering by Orbia of its (i) USD$650 million 6.800% Senior Notes due 2030, and (ii) USD$450 million 7.500% Senior Notes due 2035. The transaction, total USD$1.1 billion, was closed on May 13, 2025.

The firm also represented J.P. Morgan, Mizuho and Morgan Stanley as dealer managers in connection with the concurrent tender offer by Orbia for any and all of its 1.875% Senior Notes due 2026. The cross-border deal involved both Mexico and the USA.

Other firms representing the transaction were Davis Polk & Wardwell, White & Case (both counsel to Orbia), Cleary Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton,  in New York, acting as the counsel to the initial purchasers.

The lead partner for Ritch Mueller was Gabriel del Valle Mendiola (pictured), and he was supported by Ana María Guerrero Rivera , Ernesto Talamás Velázquez and Gabriel Robles Beistegui.
