Rumo returns to Davis Polk for advice on $500 million offering

Davis Polk advised regular client Rumo on a new $500 million offering. 

Rumo is a Brazilian company which is considered the largest intermodal logistics operator in Latin America, focusing on rail transportation, warehousing, operation of terminals and other logistics services.

The transaction included the issuance of 5.875% senior notes due 2025, issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act. Rumo Luxembourg acted as issuer, and Rumo, as guarantor. 

Partner Manuel Garciadiaz led the Davis Polk team advising Rumo. 

Rumo has previously relied on Davis Polk for an equity offering in 2016 and on a notes issuance in 2017.
